Drama is a great way to develop artistic potential,  communication skills, self confidence and team building.

Drama Club was established by professional actress Samantha Giblin approximately eight years ago. Originally based in Southfields, there is now also a group in Rotherhithe, so both South West and South East London are catered for.

Drama Club caters for children aged from five years. As the groups have gone from strength to strength, workshops are now mixed with full scale productions.

Costs are deliberately kept low so as to attract children from all sections of the community. An open door policy for membership is operated.

Any additional staff are fully qualified and highly experienced professional theatre practitioners. All staff are police checked as the safety of the children is of paramount importance.
The South West Youth Theatre is based in Southfields and caters for young people aged over twelve. The group is a production based youth theatre who regularly participate in the Wandsworth Arts Festival as well as the BT Connections Scheme organised by the National Theatre. In 1999 the group performed at the Young Vic with the premier of Sarah Daniels' play 'Taking Breath'. The group will perform 'Peter Pan' in the 2000 Wandsworth Arts Festival.

Again the group operates and open door policy and as it is a Constituted Non-Profit Making Voluntary Organisation, the members sit on the committee and participate in the decisions for the group. Funding is sometimes available so the weekly fee is heavily subsidised.

The South West Youth Theatre has actress Nicola Sanderson as co-director.

Drama Parties are also offered. Themes can be easily tailored to suit the needs of the party. Recent themes have included: Drama games, Pirates, Arabian Nights, A Christmas Carol and Harry Potter.
